One day camp.

Our first ever one day camp was held on September 30th, 2018 at Northwell Health Ice Center at Eisenhower Park. We teamed up with Camp Abilities, the Institute for Special Education and the Foundation for Sight and Sound. The morning off ice activities included mobility training, bike riding and street hockey. Lunch was served for all and after that we took the ice for some skating with the help of our fabulous volunteers. We also had members from two other Blind Hockey teams – the Hartford Braillers and the NY Nightshades there to demonstrate Blind Hockey. Members from the Stony Brook University Ice Hockey team volunteered their time to assist the participants. Gift bags were given out to all participants. All in all it was a pretty successful day!
